HisTory of wedgwood

There have been many changes in the business environment in Wedgwood in the decades since the neighborhood was created in the 1940s.  

Wedgwood is a residential neighborhood with a vibrant commercial district along its central north-south arterial, 35th Ave NE in northeast Seattle. Large tracts of vacant last were stll avalable n 1945 when World War Two came to a close. Young couples began to settle, and built housing to star new lives. 

near NE 95th Street includes the Fiddler's Inn bar, a live music venue, one of relatively few this far from the center of the city.
